New Route - On course for Austria
WE are now at the lovely Campingfelice site in Locarno until Monday. It has everything you want from a Lake/Mountain location with weather in the low 80's and scenery to die for. Town is very chic (being swiss) and there are lots of leisure and swimming activities including the very best lido we have ever seen.
I am posting our new route below which gets us back on track for Austria next week after our regular stop in the amazing resort of Davos. Weather in the Northern Alps is improving so we should have sun and mis twenties weather.

Camping Kockelscheuer - Luxembourg
We have arrived at our first stop a very nice site near Luxembourg City which coincidentally is the very first site we ever stayed in back in 2002 with our Hymer 694! James is out riding his first proper bike and Sue is about to cook me dinner - I need it after 5 hours drive from Calais. More later...

European Summer Tour 2010
On July 23 we will be heading for Europe via the channel Tunnel for our latest expedition to the Mountains, Lakes, Beaches, Villages and Places of Interest throughout western Europe.
This year we will first be heading for Austria via France, Switzerland & Germany with a mission to further explore the Austrian Tyrol and to see such towns as Salzburg, Vienna & Graz.
Later we will head for Italy and the region around Pisa before heading along the entire Mediterranean Riviera to the South of France before heading north through the Southern Alps and home towards Calais.

Devon Camping - Woodlands Leisure Park
During the May School holiday we took the Frankia down to Devon to a Camp site I discovered near Dartmoor that has an excellent Theme Park attached and is free during your stay as campers.
The site was clean and well laid out with large pitches and lots of facilities including family bathrooms and wireless internet.
The Woodlands Theme Park was massive and features many rides ideal for 4-10 year old's and included both an Animal Farm and a huge Indoor Pay Area with an indoor climbing/adventure area about the size of a football pitch! Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend it for a break with the kids in the UK.
